Holiday for the Children of Heroes in Ukrainian Carpathians

01.04.2023, 18:57
The children of Heroes have spent Christmas holidays in one of the most well-known Carpathian pensions «Slavskyi». They’ve managed to visit the biggest modern ecologic farm of Eastern Europe, «Plai» Eco-Farm, State history and culture wilderness “Tustan”, and history and regional ethnography museum “Skolivshchyna”. To climb to the top of the Pohar mountain. To take part in master classes in cooking Christmas kutia, playing the drums, and making memorable handiworks from clay. To visit wonderful Lviv, the Science Museum, and the Ukrainian Catholic University. And, what is more, to drive ATVs, plunge into active sports, and have a great fun among like-minded people.   “The children visited Ukrainian museums, historical and ecologic excursions, master classes in cooking and psychology, and music lessons; discussed movies, visited SPA treatments, and found new friends and support from the people relating to them. We’ve been observing changes in their behavior and even eyes for two weeks. We’re grateful to everyone having joined this holiday and assisted our children via such trivial things we not always have time for and willingness for, especially right now, and gift them these emotions as well as a bit of mental peace”, – share their impressions the representatives of the ANTYTILA Charity Foundation.   We’re grateful to organizations and individual concerned people thanks to whom this trip has become possible: “Tavriia Games”, “All-Ukrainian Association of Music Events UAME”, “DC Link Group”, and everyone having supported and supporting the Foundation’s project aimed to assist children!   A documentary “The Children of the Heroes: a Holiday in the Carpathians from the ANTYTILA Charity Foundation” is the conclusion of the first kids’ camp and an opportunity to convey the children’s emotions and impressions via video as well as to tell what they’ve managed to visit and to see.   “We’re planning to open the world to these kids. In the near future, we want to organize a trip abroad. God willing, it will be the United States of America or Great Britain. We’ll use all our connections and capabilities to bring this idea to life so that kids, boys and girls, would see the world, get to know another culture, have rest, and get impressions and emotions. Well, and of course when Ukraine prevails, we’ll do everything so that these kids had an opportunity to visit the coast of sunny Crimea at their own recreation center. And it will be so!” tells Taras Topolia, a cofounder of the ANTYTILA Charity Foundation.
