“Second Life” for Military Equipment

At war, almost everything is solved by the existent equipment and armament. Though even the most up-to-date and protected equipment of Western standard armament gets broken down. It’s hard to recover it. Both experience and supply of components for such maintenance being difficult of access affect.

There is good news – our Foundation has such opportunities.

Here’s an example from the latest trip: FMTV (USA) known as a wrecker for artillery rocket system HIMARS/M777/NASAMS has been recovered by our neat-handed masters exactly at the temporary dislocation spot of the artillerymen on the Bakhmut direction. As a result, an armored wrecker having been become a casualty 4 whole months ago is involved again while performing combat tasks.

Together with FMTV, a Zil has been recovered (a dysfunctional engine has been replaced) for the 59th Battalion of 45th separate artillery brigade.

As part of the last trip, the requests of the following units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been closed: the 13th separate infantry battalion, the 37th separate infantry battalion, the 72nd separate mechanized brigade, the 406th separate artillery brigade, the 59th battalion of the 45th separate artillery brigade, the 28th separate mechanized brigade, and the 30th separate mechanized brigade.

We’ve delivered means for communication, investigation, and sighting for a total of more than ₴400 000:

• thermal imaging camera Cyclops ThermTec 335 – 1 piece – ₴54 901
• batteries for FMTV – 4 pieces – ₴60 000,
• recovered engine for Zil – ₴12 000,
• half a ton of frontline food from Dudarkiv community.
