Assistance for the ATO Soldier Sashko Ilchyshyn

You know, I doubted for a very long time whether to write this or not, but I’ll do, because that’s right to do it, I’ll do so that the guys would know that we’re by their side not only at the frontline…
 
Today we’ve walked Sashko Ilchyshyn home, there were his relatives, mum and dad. You can’t even imagine what enormous amount of work Our Liena Sedliar has conducted during this hard year and two months: a long time of waiting, oceans of tears his mother had cried, and assistance from all the doctors and volunteers in the hospital…
 
The result is, unfortunately, negative for now, and his story is very hard. After injuried in Ilovaisk, Sashko entered the hospital, went through treatment and everything was supposedly okay, when suddenly a clinical death happened, he was saved from certain death by the doctors, but – a coma…, Sashko’s been in coma for more than a year already. He’s from Chernihiv region, his mum and dad have rented a flat near the hospital and been by their son’s side for all this long time helping and taking care of him, and the doctors, unfortunately, don’t make any predictions, nobody knows exactly whether he’ll get out of this state. And then, having talked with the doctors Sashko’s mother and our Liena have decided to bring Sashko home. Probably, the change of scene and dearest walls will give at least some kind of a positive result.
 
We’ve negotiated it with Chernihiv Rada that they provide an ambulance for transporting Sashko, and it was also necessary to buy equipment needed for his staying at home so that local doctors could connect him to this machine time after time. We’ve undertaken the purchase of this equipment at once, we’re grateful to Yuliia Fedorko for assistance with funds accounting for ₴5 800. All the funds were spent as intended, the rest of funds we gave to an ambulance driver and to a drive of a minibus on fuel bringing the necessary equipment for Sashko (bed, mattress from bedsores, wheelchair, and many other things). In the photo, this machine has already been loaded in the minibus and waiting for sending. I didn’t take photos of Sashko and his parents, I think it is wrong to take a photo of the guy in such condition. Whatever, I just couldn’t have posted these photos on social networks.
 
We’re also grateful to our assistants Oleh Dmytrovych, Oleh Kalinichenko, and Yuliia Fedorko for the fundraised costs totalling ₴3 500 at the charity exhibition yesterday.
 
I’ve finished this day positively in the company of a nice, kind, and sincere friend Olena Shepel Klimashevska. We were drinking cocoa, talking, and sharing news. And, of course, Lienchik and Vovchyk (Volodymyr Shepel) run true to form, they can never stay away from helping.
 
Lienchik, thank you for the money, really, thanks a bunch for ₴2 100, you always help. When I meet you or Vovchyk, I just have a mental rest, because it’s so interesting, calm, and warm with you, thank you, my dear friends!!!!!
