To See the World, to Learn about a New Country

To travel around the world is important. It helps broaden the visions, learn the history, way of life, and traditions of other countries as well as their values and culture. That’s why apart from the main objectives of the rest abroad in Bulgaria for the Foundation’s kids we told you in the previous news we’ve also included a series of excursions around landmarks of Bulgaria in the program to make it possible for them to see the world outside Ukraine.

A journey to ancient Nesebar that is a city founded more than 3 thousand years ago and included in the list of the UNESCO world heritage. We managed to organize an excursion in Ukrainian during which they learned the history and architecture of course gaining some souvenirs as well.

It was safari in jeeps having obviously stayed in the kids’ memory the most: an extreme speed hill climb in powerful bulky SUVs across terrains and mountain serpentines, over rivers, sand, mud, and forests to the highest point of the region. The kids explored the nature of Bulgaria, had an opportunity to shoot the targets from riffles, saw local animals, took photos, and actually shouted all out at the Nesebar mountain with picturesque view of the Black sea coast.

Another wonderful thing was the whole day in Nesebar Aqua Park, the biggest in Bulgaria and Europe! That was where the kids hung out: they slid from giant water slides, the longest and super-speed ones; and a range of attractions excited both the oldest and the youngest.

We owe those excursions to you – our subscribers, regular donors, and those who personally care of the children of deceased soldiers of the 130th Bn. of territorial defense.
We’re grateful for significant financial support of the Camp to our partners Ukrainian Association of Music Events (UAME) and their initiative Music Saves Ukraine worth ₴992 500 on organizing and holding the camp.
We’re also grateful for target donations to the friends of the Foundation:
– Support Ukraine Charity Foundation – partners from Britain having joined with a donation worth £1000;
– Artem Razumov having launched a fundraiser on his birthday and handed over ₴52 000 on excursion program;
– street artists from Los Angeles – Bandit and Johnny, and an operator Tristan having donated $1000 more.

Together with you, we’re bringing new ways of developing little Ukrainians and creating truly unforgettable and valuable memories from childhood.
