“ANTYTILA-CAMP 2.0”: 10 Days of Emotional Rest for the Heroes’ Children

30.08.2023, 11:28

Daddies of the Foundation’s wards had gone as volunteer fighters since the first days of the war to defend all of us. They were standing to the end and did their duty to the common future of Ukraine. Now, our duty is to support the children having been left fatherless.

It’s very important that each child understood and heard: “We’ll always assist you. We’re by your side”.

From August 18 to August 28, the children of the deceased soldiers of the 130th battalion of territorial defense visited the recreational and rehabilitation camp “ANTYTILA-CAMP 2.0”.

During 10 days, a vigorous entertaining program was intertwined with professional psychological rehabilitation and developmental trainings: psychological assistance groups, individual consultations, art- and film therapy, team games, and master classes took place.

A star guest Marichka Padalko, a well-known Ukrainian TV presenter, amused the camp members. She did not merely meet the Heroes’ children but shared the secrets of creating news.

The meeting with the ANTYTILA band became trembling. For our wards, it’s already as traditional time spent with close people. Common acoustic singing is a special therapy always being about warmth, understanding, and support.

Apart from that, the Heroes’ children had an opportunity to spend a day on sups and kayaks or to sunbathe by the lake of the recreational complex. They visited plenty of interesting excursions: a bear shelter, a dolphinarium and an oceanarium, various museums, amusement parks, the towns of Drohobych and Lviv.

We’re grateful to all donors and partners of the Foundation thanks to whom the “ANTYTILA-CAMP 2.0” was successfully held!
The children’s happy eyes and numerous positive reviews of the families prove that we’ve reached the aim: our wards’ mental state has improved, and their memories of summer rest will warm each of their hearts for long.
