This year has changed each of us. 

It has shifted our focuses, exposed our values, and shown what is important for sure.

Military volunteering of the musicians of the ANTYTILA band began as early as in spring 2014 with the volunteer association “Vilni-UA”. Two days before the Russian full-scale invasion, on February 22, 2022, the musicians joined the Territorial Defense Forces as part of the 130th battalion of territorial defense. Meanwhile, the volunteer crew reformed and continued their activity as the ANTYTILA Charity Foundation from August.

Our personal experience – participating in military actions, long-term military volunteering, direct relationships with the defense forces, and direct communication with the soldiers of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – makes it possible for us to understand the army’s needs as deeply as possible, to learn the current requests often outrunning them, to approach solving problems professionally, and achieve efficient, quality results.

Now, the Foundation keeps realizing three main projects.

The project “Assistance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine” aims to provide the militaries on the active battlefield with means of intelligence, tactical communication and defeating, and tactical medicine as well as provide stationary and outreach mobile hospitals with necessary facilities and medical means. 

As part of this project, there is also an initiative called “Anti-Drone from ANTYTILA”. We’ve already purchased and handed over 5 Lithuanian sets – SkyWiper EDM4S riffles and Wingman100 drone detectors for the needs of the army. The next set will be purchased soon.

The project “Maintenance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine” consists in recovering cars, hard military and armored vehicles being damaged from the enemy’s shelling or captured in battle as trophies. Since April, the volunteers of the Foundation have evacuated, repaired, painted, and delivered to the positions more than 120 vehicles: jeeps, pickups, armored vehicles, ambulances as well as 1 MT-LB and 9 pieces of hard military vehicles.

The project “Assistance for the Children of the 130th battalion of territorial defense” is aimed at support and emotional rehabilitation of the children of deceased Heroes of the 130th battalion where the musicians of the ANTYTILA band are on service.

The results of the work of Foundation during the previous 7 months are the following in digits:

– ₴14 000 000 – on the needs of the army,

– more than ₴1 000 000 – for supporting the children of deceased Heroes of the 130th battalion of territorial defense including organization of 10-day camp for kids in the Carpathians,

– more than 200 tons of humanitarian aid – to frontline and de-occupied towns,

– more than 40 trips with cargos and transport – for military units in the hot spots,

– more than 120 cars and 10 pieces of hard military vehicles – repaired and brought back to the frontline,

– 5 anti-drone sets – handed over for militaries, and 5 more are about to be handed over soon.

We are proud of our high level of trust and gained partner’s support from the organizations having become dear: The «Autostrada» Company Group, DC Link Group, Helsi, Lanet Gigabit Network, Tavriia Games, Dity.Help, Lviv Handmade Chocolate, etc. About ₴6 000 000 have been accumulated for realizing various projects of the Foundation in collaboration.

Partner’s initiatives «Buy a book – assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine» and «Лоти Проти» proceed as an additional instrument of drawing resources to support the Ukrainian army. Now, by selling books ₴422 000 have been managed to collect, and selling a number of various trophies from the frontline via online auction platform has been converted into ₴164 000 for the needs of the army.
